If ever there was a moment when I could say that there is such a thing as a complete photograph then this would be it. Where all the random elements and structure that are necessary for a photograph gel and fit together nicely.
In point , its horizontal framing, a bold color with body, the composition is layered with texture and has a static flow to it, the lighting is appropriate for the subject, low and subdued with sprinkling of highlights on the borders bringing the textures together. It has some emotional spark. I would label it nature realism with a touch surreal.
I like this photograph even more for the hopeful colors, blue , green and the barren fact that one season is ending and another is coming to takes its place.
